New Clients -
when you book your first treatment, you will receive:
- An email and text message with details of where to find me.
- Easy payment options: pay after your treatment (all major cards accepted) or request a payment link.
- Appointment reminder by email and WhatsApp.
On arrival:
- We'll complete a full consultation to ensure that your treatment is tailored to your needs.
- I'll explain what to expect based on the therapy you've booked and make sure that you're comfortable.
- A private bathroom is available for changing whilst I prepare the therapy room.
Preferences:
- Please let me know in advance if you have sensitivities to scents or fabrics, or if you'd prefer a quiet session without music.
Returning Clients -
you will receive a shorter consultation to:
- Review how you felt after your previous treatment.
- Discuss any changes.
- Tailor your treatment to your current needs.
Your client details are reviewed annually to ensure that everything stays accurate and relevant.

After Care
After your treatment, your body will naturally continue to respond and adjust. To support the process and get the best out of your treatment, practice a little self-care:
- Drink plenty of water - to aid with expelling toxins and to stay hydrated.
- Stay relaxed - continue to reduce stress levels but don't be too still; keep gently moving and stretching muscles.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine and smoking - help your body to release toxins; don't add to them.
- Book another treatment - regular massage/Reflexology/MLD works best; keep looking after your body and mind.
You may experience the following
(particularly if you are new to the treatment), which typically last no longer than 24 hours as your body continues to respond to your treatment:
- Slight headache/nausea.
- More frequent visits to the toilet.
- Vivid dreams.
- Emotional release.
- Symptoms worsening before getting better.
Products
I use Songbird Massage Wax for all my treatments, including a vegan alternative (which does not contain beeswax). Wax gives a better slip/grip ratio in comparison to oils.
