This incredibly powerful yet gentle manipulation of the lymph nodes moves lymphatic fluid from affected areas and speeds up lymphatic flow through the lymphatic system, reducing swelling (oedema) caused by fluid build-up. It is specialist, unlike a traditional massage, and is particularly beneficial for post-surgery clients (including cosmetic surgery), those undergoing cancer treatment, suffering with long covid or chronic fatigue, peri- and menopausal symptoms, and also as part of a detox. This massage is performed in the supine position, with the client fully clothed or wearing a gown (which can be provided). Reflexology that targets specific reflexes on the feet to support women and girls who are going through puberty, having issues with menstruation or fertility, in the second or third trimester of pregnancy, preparing for birth (including induction), and postnatal and menopausal symptoms. Sports massage therapy combines various techniques such as deep tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, tapotement, passive stretching and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretching. The primary goal of sports massage therapy is to enhance athletic performance and prevent injury. Focusing on relieving tension to the specific areas of the upper body, passive stretching and deeper massage techniques will be used to ease muscle discomfort and leave you feeling more flexible and lengthened. A deeply relaxing massage which focuses on the feet, ankles and lower leg. Unlike Reflexology which focuses on specific reflexes of the body, this treatment is more general - helping to alleviate aches and pains and support deep relaxation. BOOK NOW
